Domain Name Transfer
Booked a domain name? Not happy with your current registrar? Easily and quickly transfer your domain out with another registrar. If you wish to do so, please go through with the following details:

What is a domain name? Domain name is a part of an internet network, an identification string, that defines one individual domain which is owned by one particular organization.
When you initially select one domain for your organization you register it with one domain registrar, and you become the owner of that domain. You can choose the domain name with desired extensions as per the organization or Govt. policies or types.
The registration of these domain names is usually administered by various domain name registrars who sell their services to the public. You can access the DNS panel with the registered email ID.
Once a domain is booked, you can not rename the domain name. However, you can transfer your domain to another registrar.
Required details? The prerequisites to transfer a domain are listed below:
Domain needs to be valid and has to be registered for at least 60 days with one registrar (who is the current registrar).
Domain needs to be in active state (not inactive/not suspended).
Domain needs to be unlocked for transfer.
Theft protection and policies should be disabled before transferring.
Domain transfer out Authorization code (domain identification key) is required.
Access of the current registrant email ID for allowing the transfer request.
What is the process? To initiate the domain transfer process:
Generate the transfer out Authorization Code from your current DNS panel or get the same from your current registrar.
Ask your new DNS registrar to create a new DNS panel with your details (your active email ID and other basic company details).
Share the Auth code with the new registrar.
New registrar will start the domain transfer process with shared Auth code under new DNS panel.
Once the transfer process is initiated, an approval link will be sent to the current registrant ID as an email.
You have to approve the transfer request to start the transfer process.
While transferring you can avail the service hassle free under that domain name.
Once the domain is transferred to the new panel, new DNS panel’s name servers (NS) need to be updated. The new registrar might help you in this regard.
Generally, domain transfer might take upto 7-10 days for completion. At/after transfer (after changing the NS) there will be some downtime in the associated services (upto 24-48 hours).
Note that, charges may be applied for transferring the domain as per the respective new registrar's policy.
