Google Workspace : Powering Tomorrow’s Collaboration

G Suite now known as Google Workspace is an assemblage of collaborative tools and products embedded inside it such as Gmail, Google Chat, Google Meet, Google Drive for Storage and Google Vault for information governance and ediscovery. It has a powerful Admin Panel for configuration and settings management.

Important Features of Google Workspace :

1. Gmail: Gmail is an email service provided by Google wherein you can add the Domain name of your organization in your email ID such as yourname@yourcompany.com
2. Google Drive: This is basically a file storage that encompasses Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Slides which offers real time editing of documents.
3. Google Docs, Sheets and Slides: Google Docs, Google Sheets and Slides is basically an integration of the collaborative tools which allows the users to view and edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations together in real - time from anywhere using any device with just an access to the internet.
4. Google Forms: Google forms is nothing but a Survey form creator wherein we can create quizzes, seek feedback, conduct Online MCQ tests and more.The collected responses from each individual can be automatically entered into a spreadsheet.
5. Google Calendar: Google Calendar is an online calendar which helps us keep track of our important schedules with appropriate locations which we do not want to miss. We also have an option to set Reminders to add to-do activities where we can add Titles, locations and the Invitees whom we wish to Invite. We can set the Calendar in different setups including day, week, month or recurring as per our convenience.
6. Google Chat: Google Chat is an online communication tool where we can directly chat with each other or our Team.
7. Google Meet: Google Meet is a video communication service wherein we can use both video, audio protocols. It is basically the replacement of the Google Hangouts which was popularly used earlier.
8. Google Vault: Google Vault is an archival service or eDiscovery tool which allows for information governance in your organization and can be used to retain, hold, search and export user’s Google Workspace data.
