Price Hike for G Suite Basic and Business Editions
G Suite has been serving people to fulfill their day-to-day business requirements and has improved and added many features in order to fulfill the changing market demands. It has announced a recent price hike.

G Suite is widely known as the business productivity-enhancing application suite developed by Google.
It consists of Gmail, Hangouts, Calendar, and Google+, Google Drive- Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Google Sites, Admin console panel Google Vault for communication, collaboration, managing users and the services. It was first launched in the year 2006 on August 28 as “ Google Apps for Work “. Here’s a drill down into the feature addition over the years.

All the features added over the years has helped organisations to utilize the app in a better way and fulfill their day-to-day business requirements. In all these years, the single attribute of G Suite that has remained constant is its Price.
On 16 January 2019 Google has announced that the prices for G Suite Basic and Business editions are going to be hiked. From April 2nd, 2019, the price for G Suite Basic Edition will increase by $1 (i.e it will change from $5 to $6 per user/month) and the price for G Suite Business Edition will increase by $2 (i.e it will change from $10 to $12 per user/month). The prices in other currencies will be equivalent to the dollar values accordingly. The price for G Suite Enterprise Edition will not change.
For the customers who are availing the G Suite Basic or Business services on Flexible plan, their price will be affected on 2nd April’19.
For the customers who are availing the G Suite Basic and Business services on Annual Plan, their price will be affected the first time they renew their plan on or after 2nd April ’19.
