SAP Solutions Supported on Google Cloud

2-Tier and 3-Tier Architecture For SAP Netweaver
2-Tier Architectures:

In this Architecture, the SAP and Database for the SAP runs in the same Virtual Machine. There are 5 Persistent Disks attached with the single VM. The Root Disk will contain the operating system, the Swap Disk will contain all the paging files, the Netweaver persistent disk will contain all the SAP Netweaver installation files and profiles, the Data Volume disk will contain all the database files, and the Logs Volume will contain the database-system logs used for maintaining data consistency, backup, and recovery operations.

3-Tier Architectures:

In the 3-Tier Architecture, different VMs are deployed. The SAP NetWeaver System is distributed among multiple Application Servers, while one different server is used as Database Server and is mounted with different Application Servers. Another Shared File System will host all the SAP NetWeaver Profiles which will be accessed by all the different Application Servers. The Shared File System will be done using a Persistent Disk.
