Windows Device Management from GWS Admin Console

As an administrator you can manage Microsoft Windows 10 or 11 devices in your organization through Google endpoint management.
You need to turn on Windows device management, then you’ve two ways to configure:

  1. Standalone mode
  2. Google Credential Provider for Windows (GCPW)

Steps to configure:
Login to admin console (admin.google.com) > go to Menu > Devices > Mobile and endpoints > Settings > Windows

Click Windows management setup > select Enabled > Click Save
Enroll a device in Windows device management
If you don't install GCPW, follow the instructions below to enroll the device :

  1. Sign in to the Windows device
  2. Open https://deviceenrollmentforwindows.googleapis.com/v1/deeplink in a browser
  3. Enter the Workspace email address
  4. Click Next to start device enrollment

If you install GCPW when a user logged in to the device with Google Workspace account it automatically enrolls the device in Windows MDM, also you need to make sure that automatic enrollment is enabled from the administrator.
