Block the Unwanted Participants in Google Meet from Knocking Again and Again
Google has launched new features in Google Meet to reduce disruptions in education meetings.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the normal lifestyle of people across the globe, the virtual world has come to the rescue. Google Meet is a very important platform for online classes and educational meetings.
Google has launched some new features in Google Meet to make the online classes or educational meetings easy. Google has introduced two changes to “knocking” (requesting to join a meeting) in Google Meet to reduce interruption in education meetings.
First, if a Meeting organizer rejects a knock twice, then that particular participant will be blocked to knock again. So a knock will no longer show up after a moderator rejects it twice.
Second, if a Meeting organizer ejects an unwanted participant, that unwanted participant will not be able to rejoin the existing meeting whether they are in the same domain or on the calendar invitation and the unwanted participant will be blocked from joining the existing meeting.
Previously the unwanted participant was able to join the existing meeting and could knock again and again on the existing meeting after ejection from the meeting.
If the meeting organizer ejects a participant mistakenly, they can still add the participant by manual invitation in that existing meeting. They can add the participant by clicking on the “Add Person” button.
This feature will be available by default in G Suite for Education and G Suite Enterprise for Education Users.
This feature will be still unavailable in G Suite Essentials, G Suite Enterprise Essentials, G Suite Basic, G Suite Business, G Suite Enterprise and G Suite for Nonprofits users.
