Google Doc is one of the most important collaboration tools in Google Workspace. 

Basically it is an online word processor that lets you create and format documents as well as work with other people simultaneously.

In this article you will learn how to transform our work with smart canvas, an important update and feature in GoogleDoc. 

Now you can send/draft your mails in Google Doc by using smart canvas feature:-

  1. Open Google Doc :- https://docs.google.com/

  1. Type @ in Search menu and click on Email Draft :-

  1. Write mail address in To & CC By using ‘@’, then write the Subject Line and draft your mail:-

  1. Click on the Mail Icon to send the mail. By Clicking this icon a new window of compose mail will open and click on send, the mail will be delivered to the desired mail recipient.

This feature is available in all plans of Google Workspace & also in G-Suite Legacy.

This feature gives an advantage of cross compatibility with gmail which makes it easier to maintain a high standard of consistency when it comes to business communication and collaboration.
