Smart Searching with G Suite

Nowadays, life cannot be imagined without emails. I doubt whether anyone would not have a G Suite account.

But it becomes difficult when we have to find a particular email from a huge number of emails. If we search by some keywords or email ids, hundreds of emails appear.  Thus, Google provides us advanced smart searching option using which search results can be result oriented.

As we all know that G Suite is a Google’s product so advancement is obvious!

The Smart Searching options help to reach an appropriate search result thereby, saving time, making the search a meaningful one and increasing efficiency.

Now let’s talk about the different options of filtering in smart search of G Suite….

The above dialogue box helps us to find out an email, depending upon the following parameters:

• Whom the mail has come from or to whom it was addressed to.

• Whether it contains an attachment or not.

• Whether to search among Hangout conversations or not.

• How much old the conversation was.

• Distinctive keywords mentioned in Subject Line, content or attachment.

Let us understand what will happen to the message that matches the search criteria….

As per the below screenshot it can be clearly seen that there are various options that can be chosen to perform the next course of action.

The above dialogue box helps us to perform actions based on the filtering criteria:

• Archiving an email

• Marking the mail as read

• Applying labels

• Auto-Forwarding/Deleting an email

• Sending Different Predefined Replies matching predefined Criteria.

• Never sending the mail to spam

• Always/Never marking it as important

• Categorizing it as personal/social/promotion/updates/forums

Once the options are selected, a filter, depending upon the users’ choice is set and a definite amount of emails satisfying the mentioned options appear on the screen.
